Bradner Bengals is located in Bradner, Ohio. Bengal cats are a hybrid cat. They come from crossbreeding a wild Asian Leopard and a domestic cat. After the 4th generation of breeding such cats, the Bengal cat is produced and makes for a wonderful pet. This cross produces the wild looks that many pet owners are looking for, along with the wonderful, playful, personality of a domestic cat.

Bengal cats are very smart and can be taught new tricks or simple commands with little time and effort. Examples to include: Fetch, Sit on Command, Leash training, Toilet training, or even back flips.

They tend to love water and will often jump in the shower or bathtub with their owners. Playing in water bowls is a fun past time for many. They love to jump up into the sink so you can turn on the faucet for them.

The higher the better. Bengals love to climb and be as high as they can get. A nice tall cat tree/tower is to  their liking. We offer several tall cat trees placed together to create a large play area for them to enjoy.

Scratch posts are a must when it comes to these fancy felines. Clipping their nails weekly or simple filing of the nail will allow their newly manicured nails to not scratch things they should not. If your new kitten begins to scratch things they shouldn't, simply remove them and place them at the scratch post, they are so smart they will pick up on what they're supposed to do.

Bengals love fresh drinking water, a clean litter box, soft beds, and good quality food.

Our Bengals are litter box trained before they go to their new homes, most begin training as early as 4 weeks old. Be sure to isolate your new kitten in a single room with their essentials. They may want to explore large areas and not bond with you or lose sight of their food, water, and litter box. Keep cords and dangerous items away from a kitten, they love to chew things when they're young.
